Mega Ball is Evolution's live lottery-style game launched in 2019, combining bingo card mechanics with a physical ball-draw machine and a high-multiplier finale. The format draws from two distinct traditions — the bingo hall, where players daub numbered grids waiting for patterns to complete, and the lottery draw, where mechanically tumbled balls create the randomness. Evolution merged these into a single live-hosted product with the added tension of a multiplied climax ball.
Players begin each round by purchasing cards — between 1 and 200 bingo-style cards are available, each printed as a 5×5 grid containing 24 numbers drawn from a pool of 1 to 51. A live draw machine then releases 20 balls in sequence, and any matching numbers across all held cards are daubed automatically. As each ball lands, the screen tracks how close each card is to completing a line — a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row of five matched numbers. Multiple lines can complete across different cards simultaneously.
After all 20 standard balls have been drawn, the Mega Ball is released. This final ball carries a randomly assigned multiplier ranging from 5× to 100×, displayed to players before it drops. Any line completed specifically by the Mega Ball — meaning the line was one number short going into the final draw and the Mega Ball provides the missing number — pays at the full multiplier value. Lines already completed before the Mega Ball draw do not receive the multiplier. This mechanic concentrates the game's highest payout potential into a single dramatic moment that rewards cards sitting on the edge of completion.
